ASIASAT 4 Information
This satellite has a large coverage area across Asia and Australasia giving strong signals to all areas in the footprint. Even to cband dishes under 1.8m in size (Australia/NZ) There is a service here from the Chinese Govt that will offer up to 33 channels as a pay tv service and channel supplier to cable operators.

The Ku band will provide DTH to Hong Kong / China etc. There is also a KU footprint covering Australia and NZ with very little on it at this stage. But having a good strong signal over Australia and 76cm or larger dish size reception to NZ.

Asiasats Speedcast service is also broadcast on the cband
