APSTAR 6 Information
This satellite became active on date, it replaced Apstar 1A at 134E with a much larger footprint which now includes Australia and New Zealand and part of the Pacific Islands.

Very powerfull signals have been reported in Eastern Australia, dishes as small as 1.2M may work in some places for some channels!

Many of the channels here are Chinese regional services. Including 6 that are Analogue (You thought Analogue was dead right?)

There is a full mux here of CCTV channels some of which may encrypt.

This satelite is rapidly gaining channels,(more than 40 fta cband channels currently) but don't expect to see much other than Chinese services. If they are to compete with Asiasat3S in terms of popularity they need to at least provide a sports channel.
