APSTAR 2R Information
This satellite recently changed name to Telstar 10

This satellite has a huge coverage area across Asia and Southern Africa and well into Europe. It has a Global type Cband coverage footprint that covers many countrys. The coverage from this satellite ends just past Australia for some this may be the lowest satellite that can be viewed due to the low look angle.

The Ku side of this satellite only offers a Footprint into China. But some out of footprint signal will fall into India, Pakistan, Japan ,Thailand, Vietnam, and other places. If you can get the Ku from this satellite it contains about 15 channels FTA some Chinese, Some Taiwanese and some English including Hallmark Asia. There is very little recent info around about Fta Channels on the Ku side of this satellite.

The Cband side of this satellite offers very little for FTA viewers, the MATV channel is an Action Movies channel. This is where to look if you want Kung-Fu martial arts type action.

Tv Malagasy remains here one of the few remaining ANALOG channels

Tarb's UBI are now using this satellite to hop signals across to Australia it's expected that once their new uplink is finished being built in Greece they will shift transmissions to NSS6

This satellite is also used for distribution of some Pay channels, Disney, HBO, Cinemix, Hallmark, AXN
